Four Simple Questions
There's only one thing that's more powerful than a good answer and that's good question. Coaches know this. We rely on some powerful questioning techniques to help our clients get to the next level. The empowerment from a "series" of question is even more awesome.
There was an interesting set of questions shared with me about a decade ago that I've shared with many since. The questions were directed toward helping individuals and groups with transformation. The interesting thing about the set of questions is what happens to people as they answer them.
Often the most interesting thing that occurs is visual. I've facilitated many a class where as I go through the set of questions, and I witness what can only be described as lights going on behind my student's eyes. (My coaching clients are no different.)
The change is sometimes dramatic. It was no different for me when I first encountered them. It gave me great clarity as to providing a simple method for my own transforming. I never forgot them nor what they could assist me in.
Let's get a look at the questions firsthand...
