Stones
If you're alive, you've got them. From youngsters to old-timers, the cultured and the non, spirited and alike, their influence is felt. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do. They're forever present in our lives.
Despite their abundance, many people don't see them. I only first became aware of them a few years back. They were not clear to me before that time due a chosen point of view on my part. I'd never looked at them the way I could have. It was not a fault on my part. Stones tend to be very quiet about such things.
Over the years I've come to truly appreciate the stones I've encounter in both my life and that of others. It's been really fun seeing how they influence and more important, what we as the recipients of their presence learn. I'd no idea how much they could add to the enjoyment and achievement in life. I wish I had looked for them earlier. I think it might have made a significant difference in my life.
I've noticed an interesting aspect of stones that causes some ironic situations. There are people who really value their stones, and those that don't. The ones that do, look forward to approaching their stones and seeing what they can learn about themselves through that approach. The ones that don't value their stones, dread them and look at them as burdens. They often view their stones as if they put on them by others.
Those people most benefitted by stones use them to create things - beautiful monuments sometimes, viable institutions at other times. They never fail to see stones as opportunities for adding value to their lives and those they care for most.
Those people least benefitted by stones use them to destroy things - businesses, organizations and even lives. They too never fail in the use of their stones, only the focus is geared toward offloading them at any chance, despite the impact the stones may have.
